Intercon Solutions Launches Online Electronics
Recycling Resource
Intercon Solutions, an international electronic waste
recycling company based in Chiciago, has launched an
online resource that enables individuals and organizations
to obtain information and services regarding electronics
recycling.
The proper recycling of electronics is one of the
largest and least contemplated issues facing our environment.
The U.S. EPA states that more than 63 million computers
will become obsolete in the year 2005 alone.
Intercon Solutions uses certified processes to turn
end-of-life electronic machines, scrap and equipment
into reusable metals. The new Web site www.interconrecycling.com
is designed to provide basic information about electronics
recycling along with an introduction into how Intercon
Solutions can help solve larger e-waste problems. These
problems include mass quantities of electronics entering
our waste stream annually from new manufacturing operations
and technology upgrades.
John Vanek, director of Business Development at Intercon,
